Upcoming events:

Girl’s Retreat

The Girl’s retreat will be March 5th at 5:00 until

March 6th at 1:00pm.  We will be starting off

Our evening by having dinner with the St. Stan’s

Women’s group and talking with them.  Then we will get

All gussied up and head out for some fun!  Cost is $5.  Please bring overnight stuff, a fancy dress, and

1 question you have about being a woman!

Cribbage Tournament

Join us on March 7 after the 10:00 mass for

A Cribbage tournament.  No experience needed!

$1 entrance fee – lunch provided!

Youth Mass

On March 14th , April 11th, May 9th, and every 2nd Sunday

of the month, we will be doing the music and readings for the 10:00 mass.  This is a great way to participate in the St. Stan’s

church community!  We practice singing at 9:00 (which is very important so that we sound good!) and then sing at 10:00.  Readers need to be at church at 9:45.  Those who would like can also join

us for lunch after mass – families are welcome, also!

I have gotten much good feedback from people who really

appreciate seeing youth leading the service!

Soup Supper – March 17th, 6:00

Join us and our friends from St. Mark’s across W. 7th for a Lenten soup supper.  Please bring a pot of soup to share at 6:00 in the church basement.  Then join our youth group as we lead the churches in a prayer service.  We will conclude at 7:15, when the youth are invited to come over to youth group until 8:00.  Parents are stongly encouraged to attend.

Villa Maria – March 19-21st

Join us for an awesome time at the Villa Maria with all your St. Stan’s friends!  We will do some service work, go for a long walk, amaze you with our talents, eat, get to know each other better, swim, and have lots of fun.  We will leave at 5:45 on Friday and return at 1:00 on Sunday.

Cost is $20 and is due with p-slip on March 11th.

Feed My Starving Children – March 24, 6:00

We will be meeting this evening at Feed My Starving

Children food packaging center in Eagan to package healthy

meals for some the world’s neediest people.  I have committed

to having 50 workers with us, so we will need some parents to

also stay and help out.  Our shift ends at 7:30 and FMSC is located

at 990 Lone Oak Rd, Eagan, MN  55121

Youth Fundraiser Dinner – May 3rd

This is our big fundraiser for the year and helps us to keep

Our costs so low (every retreat and summer program that we

Offer are subsidized by what we make here).  We  really need everyone’s help to make this successful!  There is a wonderful steak or walleye dinner and a very funny, nationally known comedian for entertainment.  You can help by selling tickets prior to the dinner, donating items for the live auction, donating desserts to be auctioned off, helping collect money that evening, and, most importantly, inviting friends and family to come and support our youth!  Let me know how you can help – 292-1390.
