February 3, 2008 Dear People Whom God Loves, POPE JOHN PAUL I Pope John Paul I was pope for only 33 days. He was Pope between Paul VI and John Paul II. This quote from him is taken from "Corpus Reports" p. 24 of the November 2007 issue. "Remember that the focal point of Christianity is God who loves us; he who has not understood this has not understood Christianity. And I add that this love is not only alive, it Is unceasing. It is the love that never gives up. This to me, also, is the heart of the Good News that Jesus brought us. If John Paul I had lived to be pope for 20 years, I wonder what our church would look like today. Smile,
