St. Stan’s Youth Group
St. Stan’s Youth Group is for youth in grades 7-12. Presently, we are in the process of restructuring our Youth Group program as Kristine and Christopher Ranweiler retired after more than 30 years of service as our Youth Group Ministers. We are exploring a possible Youth Group collaboration with St. Matthew in West St. Paul. It is a place for youth to grow in themselves, in community, and in Christ. The program includes weekly meetings where youth get together and learn about and grow in their faith, discuss issues and topics important to them in a safe environment, and meet adults and other young people who care about them and accept them as they are. Special events take place each month and include trips to the Villa Maria, a ropes course retreat, special Boys and Girls Retreats, 30 hours of fasting to raise money for the poor, service trips, skiing and snow tubing, trips to the Boundary Waters, and mission trips to places such as Washington DC, Chicago, Boston, Red lake Indian Reservation, Mexico, and Guatemala.
In the meantime, for more information please feel free to contact our new Youth Faith Formation Coordinator Leslie Lucas, at 651-292-1913 or leslie@ststans.org for any questions, ideas or concerns.
