FOOD DRIVE:  November 14-15, 2020

On the weekend of November 14-15, St. Stan’s will be having its Annual Food Drive Collection to support people who live in the West 7th Street Community.  Food and cash donations will be accepted. Since the COVID-19 outbreak began, demand for emergency food assistance is very high.  Parents are skipping meals so their kids can eat, and seniors are skipping meals so they can pay for needed medications.  The need is great!

Food Donations:
We are inviting people attending mass as well as people not attending mass but wishing to donate, to drop off their donations outside the church. Food Drive cars will be located outside of church along Superior and Western streets from 3:30 to 4:30 pm on Saturday, November 14 and from 7:30 to 10:30 am on Sunday, November 15. Volunteers will be stationed curbside to accept the donations and load the Food Drive cars.

Cash Donations:
For people attending mass, cash donations can be put in a special collection basket labeled ‘Food Drive’ either in the vestibule of the church or on the table in the front of the church, as you exit mass after communion.
Cash donations can also be made by: sending a check payable to St. Stan’s (indicate Food Drive on the memo line), give your donation to one of the curbside volunteers or make a donation online on our website at www.ststans.org: click the ‘Donate Now’ menu, select ‘One-Time Online’ and enter the amount in the ‘Food Drive’ box.

Thank you once again for your generous support for this great need among our neighbors during the COVID-19 pandemic.
