FOOD DRIVE:  JULY 27-28, 2019

On the weekend of July 27-28, St. Stan’s will be having its Annual Food Drive Collection to support people who live in the West 7th Street Community.  Food and cash donations will be accepted. A $1 donation can provide $8 worth of food and grocery products. The Salvation Army uses the cash donations to purchase food from Second Harvest, which is then distributed to people in need. Did you know?

  • 1 in 10 neighbors are at risk for missing meals.
  • 1 in 3 Minnesota children doesn’t get enough food to eat.
  • 10 percent of people who need food are seniors over the age of 60.

Grocery bags will be available at the entrances of St. Stan’s on July 21-22. If you would like to contribute money for the Food Drive, but you will not be attending Mass at St. Stan’s on the weekend of July 27-28, please put your cash or check in an envelope, marked “July Food Drive” and put it in the collection basket on one of the weekends prior to the drive. Envelopes will be available in the pews or you can use your own. Thank you once again for your generous support for this great need among our neighbors.
