Smile, God loves you!
Father John Clay
July 7, 1926 – September 13, 2020
It is with a heavy heart that we inform you that Father Clay passed away Sunday, September 13. He was very peaceful and had no stress as he was called home to be with Jesus.
May God bless us as we mourn the loss of our beloved Father Clay.  See obituary notice for visitation details.

In the Words of Father Clay …
We can pray about this. So just sit back, relax, and close our eyes, keep your back straight, breathe slowly and deeply, slowly and deeply. Let the cares, the worries, the fears, the hates, the anger, the vengeance and the cruelty, the bitterness, loneliness, despair and depression fall away.
We are surrounded by love, the love we name God. That love holds us, embraces us, cradles us, looks at us tenderly and with compassion. That love lives deep within our souls and bubbles up with powerful, healing energy.
Gracious love, draw us into and through the whole spiritual journey. Help us realize that our compassion must grow. Our compassion must grow for more and more people. It’s all right to start out with a small circle around us, but we must realize that everybody is human. Everybody is your daughter or son.
Help us realize that there are systems in our society and in our Church that are unjust and that make it very hard to do what is good and what is right. We need courage to change those things. We need a lot of courage, because working for change will bring upon us much hate and much derision, and people will want to do away with us. Help us to have that courage and that strength.
